Long walks to the park have me meditating on a lot of plants and flowers. And houses. This was the heart of a beautiful rounded prickly plant—the type of thing I never would have appreciated before I lived here. It had been closed so tightly you can see the faint impression the leaves and spikes made on the leaves wrapped closest to them.
One word: wow!
